Are you a candidate for NearVision CK™

NearVision CK™ ( Conductive Keratoplasty® ) is intended for people over the age of 40 who need reading glasses and people with farsightedness (hyperopia). CK™ is NOT intended for people with nearsightedness ( myopia ) that have required distance glasses since a young age. Vision Rejuvenation™ Victoria has other options for nearsighted patients. Please take our patient questionnaire to determine which procedure is the best option for you.

You are likely a good candidate for NearVision CK™ if you:

Are at least 45 years old
Dislike wearing reading glasses
Have healthy eyes
Require reading glasses between +0.75 and +3.00
Have a stable refraction for one year prior to the preoperative examination
Are able to lie flat without difficulty
Are able to tolerate eye drops

You should NOT have NearVision CK™ if you:

Are pregnant or nursing
Have a pacemaker or defibrillator.
Have a history of Herpes simplex or Herpes zoster in your eye.
Have unrealistic expectations for permanent results, instant improvement in vision or perfect vision under all light conditions.
Have keratoconus or thin cornea s
