NearVision CK™ Post-Op Care

• Mild to moderate burning, watering and irritation for 2 to 3 days
• “Smeary vision” (like dirty glasses) can last up to 1 month Glare, especially when driving at night, for about 1 month
• Slight overcorrection of your vision for a few weeks
• Distant objects may appear blurry, but near objects
  will be clearer

Most patients feel well enough to work and/or drive after 1 or 2 days. If you are unsure, just call our office with your questions.However, there a few guidelines you should also consider:

• Avoid eye makeup for 3 to 4 days after the procedure
• Avoid swimming in pools for 1 week
• Avoid swimming in lakes or the ocean for 2 to 3 weeks
• Avoid rubbing your eyes
• Wear eye protection in situations such as contact sports

 

• Vigamox 4 times per day for 4 days
• Voltaren 4 times per day for 4 days
• Genteal tears should be used every 15 mins the day of surgery and as required thereafter
• Comfort tears 4 times per day or as required for irritation for 2 days

You will receive a phone call from a technician at 1 day post-op. Thereafter, you will be seen at 1 week, 6 weeks and 3 months, if necessary.

Expect your vision to “stabilize” in approximately 1 to 3 months.
