If you currently wear contact lenses, you will be asked to discontinue their wear prior to your pre-operative assessment.
Contact lenses may change the shape of your cornea , so it is important to discontinue their wear, leaving sufficient time for your cornea s to return to their natural shape.
More than one pre-operative examination may be required to assess stability of your vision.
Subsequent to your assessment, you may return to contact lens wear until two days prior to your surgery, when you begin to use your pre-operative drops.
You may wear a contact lens in the eye still awaiting surgery after the first eye has been completed.
